Scott Commodity stripped of Caribbean Title
Sources have confirmed that D1PW Commissioner J.R. James has been forced to strip Scott Commodity of the Caribbean Title due to injuries that will render him unable to defend the title during the mandatory required timeframe. Scott has suffered a serious back injury that will keep him out of action for an extended period of time. Although D1PW prides itself on championships being won and lost in the ring, the situation here left James with no alternative.
In fairness to both Commodity's manager Fabulous Frank as well as #1 contender The Falcon, the title will be at stake on June 13th in Hollywood. The already scheduled 6 man tag team match pitting Frank's army of Johnny Vandal, Austin Amadeus and Lou Cypher against Falcon, Tommy Vandal and a mystery partner will still take place, with the person scoring the winning pinfall or submission being named the new Caribbean champion.

Chaotic Chris Jones wins D1PW Cruiserweight Title

Young Chaotic Chris Jones, known as one half of the Dynamic Duo, has captured his first gold here in D1PW by defeating Craig Classic for the Cruiserweight Title. The match took place on an IWZ event in Homestead, FL. Classic was one of several D1PW stars who came to the ring during the show in an attempt to "take over". IWZ commissioner Rico Casanova ordered Classic to put his title on the line later that evening. A hard fought contest saw Chris emerge victorious and capture the belt. Craig had held the title since its inception when he defeated 5 other competitors in Coral Springs at the Florida United 2 event. Classic even toured Big Japan Pro Wrestling as champion.
Chris had removed the mask that had identified him as one half of the Dynamic Duo in order to symbolically dedicate himself to the pursuit of this title. He had come up just short in a previous encounter in Orlando, and got the job done in Homestead. Fantastic Dantastic is very proud of his young protege, and you can still expect to see the popular pair team up when the Cruiserweight title isnt up for grabs.
With Craig now leaving for another lengthy tour of Japan, a whole list of outstanding cruiserweights have thrown their name in the hat to take their shot at the gold.
D1PW Stars appear at Miami Music Awards

The event included appearances and performances by musical acts such as Nice & Wild, Expose and many more. The D1PW stars walked the red carpet and conducted numerous media interviews before entering. Later, Falcon and Apollo were on stage to present an award when they were interrupted by Frank and Vandal. Things turned ugly and led to an on stage confrontation that Frank and Johnny got the worst of, before being chased off the stage.
